I have big display windows at the fornt of my salon and I am not sure what to do with them. I have had some success in the past with big offer posters and colourful sheer curtains but does anyone have any better ideas? I cant put product in the as a) it fades the packaging and b) they are so big it makes the product look tiny and you can barely notice it.
Here is an idea of what I have

The windows are the ones in front of the white car.
Any ideas would be great

Hi Pamela,

we have one big window at our spa and we usually have a big plant there and an easel with different posters that we create regularly according to the promotion we're currently running.
Another idea we've had and we're looking in to it right now is window posters. It's a special material that is available at most print shops, it's seethrough, you're able to see outside but difficult to see inside, it keeps the sun rays out and it looks beautiful on the window, given the fact that it's a nice picture. I've seen it in big windows and it looks very nice.

Hope this helps.

Hi

I'm not very 'Blue-Peter' (UK kids programme that is famous for making anything out of washing up liquid bottles and egg boxes!) I think my window is there to sell.

Each month I pick a service promotion eg Semi-Permanent colour and theme around that where possible I jump on the back of what my supplier is doing (have actually blagged one of those window banners from Wella).

I do think winows whatever size are a tough one.

Hi, large windows need something eye catching so try a maniquin dressed as a bride or in a lavish ball gown and do a large picture frame on an easel with your bride packages or ball make ups and whatever else you can come up with but keep the window dressed at all times. A fun scene with balloons and happy birthday signs to whoever staff member has a birthday or achieved a goal. Sayings of the day. Small table with clothe and place setting, champagne bottle glass etc. sign asking "DO YOU LOOK YOUR BEST TO CELEBRATE". Ask your staff to get in on the act and get wild! Bobbie
